Barcelona in Green

Today I would like about a part that I like so much when I visit a new city which are parks and gardens.

In a green part of a city I find the right concentration and the good connection between me and my emotions,I think that you can have the same situation or maybe you can experience that and let me know.

So let`s start to show the parks and gardens that you should visit when you are in Barcelona.

PARK GUELL

PARC DE LA CIUTADELLA

CASTELL DE MONTJUIC

PARC DE L`ESPANYA INDUSTRIAL

As you can see you have great choice to do to visit these fantastic pieces of art.

I should give you the information about prices and any other thing of these parks.

PARK GUELL: General ticket= € 8.50

PARC DE LA CIUTADELLA: It`s free and you can see shows from creative people.

CASTELL DE MONTJUIC: Standard Admission Fee=€ 5.00

Reduced Admission Fee= € 3.00

PARC DE L`ESPANYA INDUSTRIAL: It`s free and when you enter in the park you can see a giant sculpture of a dragon, if you go down to the boating lake,you`ll find birds,tufted ducks and red crested pochards.

Now let`s see another green part of Barcelona which are the gardens.

JARDINS DE MOSSEN COSTA I LLOBERA

I will give you some info about these gardens different from each others.

JARDINS DE LIBERAL: The gardens contain sculptures by Josep Viladomat and Jaume Otero. The fountain used to be a meeting place for solo travelers and maybe young couples. It`s free

JARDINS DE MOSSEN CINTO VERDAGUER: During the spring and towards the end of the summer is at its most popular, thanks to the huge number of flowers such as tulips of different colors, which give such variety and intensity of colors. Another thing that you can enjoy in this garden is the impressive views of Barcelona.

PARC DEL LABERINT D`HORTA: In the lower part of the park you will find the famous labyrinth, which gives the park its name. During the route you`ll come across the sculpture of Eros in the heart of maze. Of course the access of this park is free as well.

JARDINS DE MOSSEN COSTA I LLOBERA: Access to the gardens is free of the charge. I suggest you to walk through the gardens through different levels in order to get a different perspective of the scenery. During you walk round the gardens you will be able to enjoy many wonderful views from different viewpoints. It`s an ideal place to take pictures of the port, the coasts of the plants many of which are very spectacular.
